The M.Tech at C-DAC Mohali is an intensive skill based and practice oriented programme, which incorporates assignments, industry relevant projects, dissertation work etc., and are delivered through regular and expert guest faculty in the region with extended laboratory operations for 7 days a week to provide a stimulation and high end teaching learning experience.

C-DAC, Mohali started M.Tech in Cyber Security (CS) in the year 2020, which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. The objective of the programme is to provide expertise in overseeing and keeping up the security and system structure. This programme is useful to learn how to actively monitor and defend the network and, furthermore, make fundamental security approach and methods. This programme helps students to utilise cybersecurity measures to protect the data and manage the personal conduct in relation to protecting the data and information. In addition, this post-graduate programme train students to scale up the demand from multiple industrial areas on the cyber world to promote effective methods practices and tools to counter the cybercrime.
